Literacy and numeracy skills to be developed within the CIALN are studied in relation to student personal, functional, informative and cooperative needs, wants and interests in the workplace and/or general community. The following Literacy in the Workplace – A Teacher’s Guide was originally partially funded via an International Literacy Year grant supplied through the Barwon South Western Council of Adult Community and Further Education, Victoria.
